Getting ready for the Core Certification Healthcare Interpreter™ (CoreCHI™) exam? LEO’s CoreCHI™ Exam Prep Course is designed to help you build the knowledge and confidence you need to succeed — all at your own pace.

This course is ideal for healthcare interpreters preparing for national certification. It covers key areas outlined by CCHI, including:

  • The U.S. healthcare system

  • Interpreter roles, protocols, and professional ethics

  • HIPAA and patient confidentiality

  • Cultural competence in healthcare settings

  • Basics of sight translation and written translation

  • Healthcare terminology and body systems

As part of the course, you’ll also gain access to our Medical Interpreting Quiz.

This course is taken on a self-assessment basis, and is an excellent tool for experienced interpreters looking to evaluate their readiness for the CoreCHI™ exam and brush up on essential knowledge areas.

**ASL interpreters take LEO courses without instructor evaluation, on a self-assessment basis.
