Q: How will I join the live event?

A: We sent everyone the link to join live on 12/01/21, and are resending it to all new registrants. Please check your spam folder if you haven’t received it.

Q: How will I receive the questionnaire and certificate?

A: You need to add LEO to safe senders, as all conference communication is managed by Constant Contact. If you previously unsubscribed from our newsletter, you will be missing important links and other relevant info. Please resubscribe here to stay informed.

Q: What if I can’t attend the live event?

A: The recorded video will be sent to everyone registered within a week after the live event. You will have a month to view the recording and fill out a short attendance questionnaire. You can view the video at any time within this month and pause/stop/revisit it whenever works for you. You can still get your CEUs even if you miss the live event.

Q: What are the session codes for NBCMI/IMIA CEUs?

Visibility of a Professional Linguist, Winter Edition Presentation Approved CEUs

Q: Is the conference approved for California court interpreting CEUs?

A: Court interpreter continuing education courses approved in other states are approved for credits in California.

Per the Compliance Requirements, please note that California court interpreters are no longer required to turn in continuing education and professional assignment documentation. However, interpreters must maintain records verifying compliance for 5 years because the Court Interpreters Program reserves the right to audit. The conference attendees will need to indicate other state’s approval and provide other state’s credit number/hours approved if they are ever audited.

Q: How will I receive my certificate?

A: You need to complete the attendance questionnaire that was sent to all participants on Friday, Dec. 3, and we will issue your certificate within two weeks after receiving your answers. Please submit your answers no later than December 23. Rest assured that LEO makes every effort to accommodate last minute requests for CEUs, so you are in good hands.
