Q: How will I join the live event?
A: We will send you the link to join the day before the live event. Please check your spam folder if you haven’t received it. Please note that the link will be sent at the end of the work day (7 PM Eastern) to allow last minute registrants to join us.
Q: How will I receive the questionnaire and certificate?
A: You need to add LEO to safe senders, as all conference communication is managed by Constant Contact. If you previously unsubscribed from our newsletter, you will be missing important links and other relevant info. Please resubscribe here to stay informed.
Q: I registered for the conference, but haven’t received the confirmation.
A: If the confirmation email did not land in your spam folder, you might be missing it because you previously unsubscribed from LEO’s newsletter. Please feel free to resubscribe here and make sure LEO is among safe senders, in order not to miss important information regarding the conference, including the links to join and the video recording.
Q: What if I can’t attend the live event?
A: The recorded video will be sent to everyone registered within a week after the live event. You will have a month to view the recording and fill out a short attendance questionnaire. You can view the video at any time within this month and pause/stop/revisit it whenever works for you. You can still get your CEUs even if you miss the live event.
Q: Will there be any interactive sessions where attendees will be encouraged to turn their cameras on?
A: Yes, we will have four interactive breakout rooms with outstanding experts on Friday. You can learn more about them here.
Q: How will I receive my certificate?
A: You need to complete the attendance questionnaire that will be sent to all participants the day after the conference, and we will issue your certificate within two weeks after receiving your answers. If you fill out the questionnaire after January 20, please notify our Course Admin at Admin@LinguistEducationOnline.com
Q: Can I cancel my registration?
A: We understand that plans can change, and we strive to offer flexibility through transfer options. Please note that all registrations are non-refundable. However, substitutions and one-time transfers to the next LEO conference are available as outlined below:
Substitutions
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another participant at no additional cost. Please notify us in writing before the start of the conference so we can process the substitution.Transfers to a Future LEO Conference (Carryover)
A one-time carryover to the next conference is allowed if requested at least 5 calendar days before the conference date.
If the next conference’s registration fee is higher, the registrant will be responsible for paying the difference.
A carried-over registration cannot be refunded at a later time but remains eligible for substitution under the same rules above.
