This webinar covers interpreting for check-ups and well visits in the following areas of specialization: adult medicine, pediatrics, and dental clinic. The presenter will share resources, recommendations and best practices for interpreting in these settings. We will carefully look at standards of practice related to sight translation and assisting patients with forms. You will learn about a tool for quickly assessing sight translation requests along with practical suggestions for handling such requests, best practice recommendations for navigating privacy issues when assisting patients with paperwork, as well as how to handle the entering of personal information on forms. We will also review the importance of the pre-session.
