During this webinar, we’ll discuss the potential to diversify your services as a translator by acquiring knowledge in audiovisual materials. Topics of discussion will include: monolingual audio transcriptions, audio-to-text translations, subtitling, and voice over projects. We will review a few free tools that can be used to work on each task and emphasize the need to acquire knowledge and practice now ― especially if translators are experiencing a decrease in their workload amid the global pandemic ― so that they can be ready to meet the market demand in the audiovisual segment in the near future.

CEUs: Starting from January 1, 2020, only live events can be pre-approved by ATA. However, individual translators can claim a recorded event under self study (category B) to get points by themselves.*

*If you do not see your state or organization’s CEUs here, contact us via Services@linguisteducationonline.com. In most cases we can submit the webinar for CEUs on demand.
